At the harbour   (tekst: Bob Powers)

Saw you early morning at the harbour

You had just come out walking

We watched the fishing nets coming in

And talked about nothing

We drank wine at the waterfront

And coffee on the hillside

It took so long just to hold your hand

I hoped that you could understand

In a Spanish disco bar

We drank too much by far

We walked and laughed down to the beach

Were some one tried to buy you

We travelled through the autumn

Stood together by the roadside

We eat French bread cheese and wine

And didn't matter were we were going

We only journeyed somewhere

Just to see where we could end

To us it didn't matter

What time or where we reach

I left you on the station

You just said we had a great time

There were regrets but with no tears

Because we had nothing planned

We only journeyed some where

Just to see where we would end

To us it didn't matter

I went to Holland

And you went to Greece
